Choose your items
Choose the closest service. Use its item selector where available, or send a list of everything you want collected, including any other furniture or loose rubbish.
How it works
What to expect before, during and after your collection — and what you need to do.

Your collection
You do not need to know the service name or have every item counted. Start with what you know, and make clear anything you want to keep.
Choose the closest service. Use its item selector where available, or send a list of everything you want collected, including any other furniture or loose rubbish.
Show the whole collection, then another angle if something is hidden. Include the way out where access is tight. You can add notes alongside the pictures.
List the main things or the rooms involved. Leave uncertain details as unknown. For larger or more complicated jobs, you can ask about a site visit.

Example · A mixed pile
“Bags, boxes and some carpet. I’m not sure how much there is.”
Describe the contents as well as the amount. Mention heavy materials such as soil or rubble; the same-sized pile can weigh much more.
“A two-seater sofa, a washing machine and three bags.”
Include everything going together, which floor it is on and whether the appliance is still connected.
Compare furniture collection options“Two bedrooms to clear, but the fitted wardrobes stay.”
Name the spaces, main contents and belongings to keep. If you are arranging it for someone else, include who can give access.
When to ask for house-clearance help“Desks, chairs and old computers, with a booked loading bay.”
Include quantities, building hours and access. Identify data-bearing equipment and any records your organisation needs.
Plan an office clearancePrice & arrangements
Your price is for the collection you describe: the items, loose waste, access and any agreed extra work. Some services show a price online; other collections need the team to review the details and confirm a quote.
The type, amount and weight of the contents matter, along with stairs, parking, the distance to the van and any extra work. A room count or a photo alone may not be enough to confirm the full price.
See what affects the priceStarting a quote does not book the collection.
Tell us about a new delivery, a property handover or another deadline. We check availability and agree the date with you. Requesting a preferred date or starting a quote does not book the collection.
Plan a clear-out before movingLet us know about extra items, different access or a change of plan before collection. These can affect the work, vehicle space or price. Check the updated details before agreeing any additional work.
The visit
A collection can start inside your home, upstairs, in the garden or at a workplace. We plan around the items and access, then carry, load and take away what you have agreed.

Show the team what is going and anything staying. Point out access concerns and changes since the quote before the work starts.
We carry out and load the agreed items. For a property clearance, the team works through the rooms and areas included in the job.
For a house clearance, check the agreed areas before the team leaves, or arrange a handover if you cannot be there. Loose debris from the clearance is swept up; deep cleaning is separate.
If you can, check drawers and cupboards for valuables, personal papers and belongings you want to keep. Clearly mark anything staying or still undecided.
Help deciding what stays and goesTell us about stairs, lifts, narrow turns and parking. Arrange keys, entry codes or a loading bay if needed. You do not need to carry bulky items outside to ask for a quote.
Say what is inside bags, boxes and furniture. Ask whether anything needs packing or emptying for your particular collection, especially fragile or unusual contents.
Garden clearance: materials, skips and collectionMention connected appliances, fixed fittings or furniture that may not fit out in one piece. Disconnection and specialist dismantling need to be checked before the day.
Keep children and pets away from the carrying route. Point out anything fragile or awkward rather than trying to move a heavy item yourself.
The team needs someone who can confirm the instructions. If you cannot attend, agree access, decisions and how the property will be secured afterwards.
For house clearances, we text a live van-tracking link on collection day. Keep the nominated contact available for access or questions.
More about house clearanceA few items and a full property need different amounts of time. The load, stairs, parking, sorting and dismantling all affect the visit. For a house clearance, we give an expected timeframe with the quote once the job is understood.
Check what to prepareWhat happens next
Pay on completion and keep a record of the collection. The things we take away are then handled according to their type, condition and where they can be accepted.
Payment is due on completion. Check the completed work against what you agreed, then pay using the method confirmed with your quote.
A waste transfer note can be provided for the collected waste. Tell us about any record-keeping requirements when requesting the quote so the paperwork can be confirmed. Keep the documents you receive with your quote and payment records.
A visual example, not an issued note or a complete form.
The route depends on the items, their condition and where they can be accepted.
Usable furniture and other items can be kept separate for reuse when a suitable organisation or facility can accept them. Collection does not guarantee donation.
Recyclable material is separated for facilities able to process it. Electrical equipment and other specialist items may need different handling from general rubbish.
What cannot be reused or recycled still needs suitable disposal. We plan the handling around the materials collected; not every load can be recycled in full.
A waste transfer note is not a data-destruction or recycling certificate. If you need specialist processing evidence for equipment or confidential material, agree that before collection.
Equipment and data requirementsContact us with the collection address, date and a description of what you need help with. Keep your quote and any collection records together so the team can identify the job.
A few more details for planning your collection.
Yes, inside and upstairs collections are available. Include the floor, lift access, stairs, tight turns and parking when describing the job so the carrying work can be planned and priced.
For the indoor sofa service, the team can remove feet or detachable backs and separate corner or modular sofas into their normal sections. Tell us about the way out. Other furniture, fixed fittings or specialist dismantling need separate agreement.
Identify them before collection so we can check whether they can be taken and how they must be handled. Include what you know about the material rather than treating it as general rubbish.
Contact the team as soon as your plans change, using the details on your booking. Ask what the change means for availability, price and any terms that apply before agreeing a replacement date.
Call 0161 883 3570 and explain your deadline, what needs to go and where it is. The team will check availability; an urgent request does not guarantee a same-day collection.
Start with the items, photos or details you have.
