After the clearance
What happens to the contents?
Suitable items can go for reuse where a route is available. Recyclable materials and remaining waste go through the appropriate recycling or disposal route. Not everything can be donated or recycled.
And the space left behind?
We sweep up loose debris from the clearance. This isn’t a deep-cleaning service.

How much does a house clearance cost?
House clearance costs depend on the volume, access, labour time and disposal routes required. A small partial clearance may cost much less than a full property, while larger clearances need a tailored quote. Send photos or a list and we will confirm a clear price before any work starts. Site visits are for larger house clearances only.
How long does a house clearance take?
The time needed depends on the amount being cleared, parking, stairs, access and how much sorting is involved. We will give you an expected timeframe with the quote once we understand the job.
Planning your clearance
Do I need to list every item before asking for a quote?
No. Start with a few room photos or a description of what needs clearing. Tell us what should stay and mention any cupboards, lofts or other areas you have not checked yet. We’ll review the details and let you know if we need more information before confirming your quote.
Do you clear the entire house or just certain rooms?
We offer both full and partial house clearances. You can ask us to clear a single room, a garage, a loft, bulky furniture, bagged waste, white goods or the whole property. Tell us what is staying and what needs to go and we will work to that brief.
Do I need to be present during the clearance?
It helps if you can be there at the start to confirm what should stay and what should go. If that is not possible, we can often work from clear instructions, photos and arranged access. Many customers return for a final check once the clearance is complete.
Can you help with house clearance after a bereavement?

After the clearance
What happens to the items you remove?
We prioritise reuse and recycling before disposal. Usable household items are separated for suitable reuse routes where possible, recyclable materials are sorted for appropriate facilities, and items that cannot be reused or recycled go through the appropriate waste route.
Do you clean the property after clearance?
We sweep up and remove loose debris created by the clearance so the property is left tidy. We do not provide a deep cleaning service, but we can leave the space ready for cleaning, sale, rental, renovation or handover.
